DX News – 21 September 2014
The Czech DXpedition Team will be on the air from Togo between 25th September and 3rd October. Activity will be on the 10 to 160m bands using CW, SSB and some of the digital modes. The group also plans to take part in the CQ World Wide DX RTTY Contest on 27th and 28th September. QSLs go via OK6DJ, direct, via the bureau, eQSL, Logbook to the World, or using the OQRS on Club Log.
JI3DST will be active stroke 5 from Shodo Island, AS-200, in the Kagawa Prefecture until 22nd September. Operations will be on the 6 to 40m bands using CW, SSB, FM and RTTY. QSL via his home callsign direct or via the bureau.
LU5BE, LU8EFF and LU3AAL will be active stroke T from Purmamarca in the Jujuy region in Argentina from 24th to 30th September. Operations will be on the 10 to 80m bands using CW, SSB, PSK31 and SSTV. They will also try to have a beacon on 6 meters. QSL via LU8EFF.
Depending on transportation, G4DBW should be active as ZD8RH from Ascension Island, SA-043, between the 22nd and 30th September. Operations will be mainly on CW. QSL direct via G4DBW or via RSGB Bureau.
JA7LU and JA2VWG will be active as 4W6LU and 4W6DD, respectively, on Timor Leste, OC-232, between 22nd and 29th September. Their operation will be on the 6 to 40m bands using SSB and RTTY. QSL each operator direct only via their home callsign.
Dindo (DV1UD) will be active on CW as DX8DX next week 25th and 26th September from Pangutaran Island IOTA OC-188 (Pangutaran Group) and Tongkil (Tongquil) Island IOTA OC-119 (Jolo Group). QSL via M0OXO.
Andrea, IZ1MHY will be active as 5H1MD from Zanzibar (AF-032), from 28th September to 10th October. He will operate SSB, CW, and digital modes on the HF bands. QSL via home call.
