The OPS-2m-NW Net is a regular VHF simplex net for licensed amateur radio operators across North West England, organised and run by the M0KKN Club. The net is technical and experimental in nature, focusing on antenna testing, real-world simplex coverage, local propagation analysis, and mapping who hears who on the 2m band.

The net takes place fortnightly on 145.500MHz at 7.30pm. The next net is tomorrow, 26 January. Operators are asked to QSY as directed by the net controller. All licence levels are welcome to join in.

Darlington Amateur Radio Group, G8DAR is a small group of mainly disabled amateurs unable to get to other clubs because of distance, timing or accessibility. The Group meets on Fridays in Darlington between 10am and 12 noon at the coffee morning at Haughton le Skerne Methodist Chapel, DL1 2DD.
