GPSR Policy

The EU Regulation on General Product Safety 2023/988 (GPSR) Came into effect on the 13 December 2024 and applies in European Union (EU) Member States. It amends the provisions in EU Regulation No 1025/2012 and Directive 2020/1828, and repeals Directive 2001/95/EC and Directive 87/357/EEC.

Books and magazines are not considered hazardous but the RSGB does seek to comply with all appropriate legislation and in particular here comply with GPSR when shipping to EU states or Northern Ireland.

At present there are no safety warnings connected to any RSGB product or service.
