Risk management for events

One of the most important considerations when planning any event is risk management

  • Always carry out a risk assessment
  • Work hard to eliminate and reduce risk to the public and members
  • Ensure you have public liability insurance in place
  • If your event takes place on someone else’s property, they may well insist that your club provides proof that you have adequate insurance cover in place
