How long have you been an RSGB volunteer? About two months so far!

Why did you choose to volunteer? To see if I can work out how to help people with their projects and to be interested in using radio in ways that I would never anticipate.

What do you hope to get out of volunteering in your new role? To talk to people who are excited about what they’ve just built or hope to build.

What would you say to people thinking about volunteering for the RSGB? There is a lot of support from both within the RSGB and from people in the amateur radio community, so you don’t have to do everything on your own.

Fun fact: do you prefer operating or tinkering/constructing? Definitely tinkering, that’s why I was interested in the Maker Champion role.
