RSGB Legacy Committee member, Sarah Hill, M0SVH
How long have you been an RSGB volunteer? Can’t recall exactly, but the best part of five years.
Why did you choose to volunteer? Seemed like a good idea at the time. There was a request for help and my experience outside of the RSGB made me think I would be a good fit and that I would be able to do it well.
What do you get out of volunteering in your role? It’s always good to put something back into organisations you are a member of.
What would you say to people thinking about volunteering for the RSGB? Give it a go, what can go wrong.
Fun fact: do you prefer operating or tinkering/constructing? Operating.
