GB3RS on the air for World Amateur Radio Day
The RSGB National Radio Centre (NRC) showed support for World Amateur Radio Day on Sunday 18 April.
GB3RS was activated by Stefano, G7RDX who is an NRC Volunteer. Using the FT5000 with a doublet antenna, Stefano made many QSOs on both the 80m and 40m bands.
The NRC Co-ordinator Martyn Baker, G0GMB supported Stefano and ensured social distancing and Covid precautions were maintained at all times.
Please note:
The NRC remains closed at the present time and we are reviewing the potential of reopening when government restrictions permit. Please keep an eye on the RSGB/NRC website for any announcements.
