GB0RBW will be active this weekend from the Bath and West Show near Shepton Mallet. Organised by Mid-Somerset ARC, with support from Yeovil and South Bristol clubs, the station will be on the air from 9am to 6pm each day.
The Marconi museum ship, Elettra, which was Marconi’s moving laboratory, will be on the air this weekend as part of the Museum Ships weekend. 2019 is the centenary of the purchase of Elettra by Marconi.
GB2DAW will be on the air for Dementia Awareness Week between 3 and 9 June, to raise awareness of dementia. Operating from the Shetland Islands, Scotland, they will transmit on varying bands and frequencies depending on conditions and time of day. All information is be on QRZ.com.
The Windmill Amateur Radio DX Group will be operating GB1RY on 6 June from RAF Ramsbury for the 75th anniversary of D-Day. They will be operating again on the 8th and 9th during the unveiling of a commemorative plaque and information board about RAF Ramsbury.
