Rallies and Events News – 29 June 2014
This weekend sees the Hamtronic Show taking place in Germany. The RSGB President and Chairman of the Board are attending the event and there is a large RSGB bookstall as well as an IOTA presence.
Today, 29 June, the West of England Radio Rally takes place at the Cheese and Grain, Bridge Street, Frome, Somerset BA11 1BE. Doors open from 10am to 2pm and admission is £2.50. There will be trade stands and an RSGB bookstall. Details from Shaun, G8VPG on 01225 873 098.
On Saturday 5 July, the Bangor and District ARS Rally will be held in Donaghadee Community Centre, County Down BT21 0HB. Doors open at 11.30am and admission is £3. Sunday 6 July sees three rallies taking place. The 51st Cornish Mobile Rally, the 18th Red Rose QRO Festival and the Barford Norfolk rally.
The Cornish Mobile Rally will be held at Penair School, St Clements, Truro, Cornwall, TR1 1TN. Doors open at 10.30am and admission is £2. There will be trade stands and a Bring and Buy. Details from Steve on 01209 844 939.
The Red Rose QRP Festival takes place in the Formby Hall, Alder Street, Atherton, Manchester M46 9EY. There is free car parking and doors open at 11am with admission being £2. There will be trade stands and a Bring and Buy. Information from Les Jackson, G4HZJ on 01942 870 634.
The Barford Norfolk Rally will be held at Barford Village Hall and Green, Barford, Norwich NR9 4AB. Doors open at 9am and admission is £1.50. There will be trade stands and a Bring and Buy.
