No fewer than four rallies take place today, 7th July. The Barford Norfolk Radio Rally is at Barford Village Hall and Green, Barford, Norwich NR9 4AB. Talk in is on S22 and there is car parking. The rally opens at 9am and admission is £1.50, free for under 16s. There will be trade stands, a Bring and Buy, disabled facilities, catering and much more. Contact radio@dcpmicro.com.
The 50th Cornish RAC Mobile Rally is at Penair School, St Clements, Truro, Cornwall, TR1 1TN. There is talk in and car parking. The rally opens at 10.30am and admission is £2. The 17th Red Rose QRP Festival is at Formby Hall, Alder Street, Atherton, Manchester M46 9EY. There’s free car parking, the rally opens at 11am and admission is £2, free for under 14s. Hull and DARS is holding its annual amateur radio related equipment sale at its Clubhouse, Walton Street Community and Leisure Centre, HU3 6JB. Viewing is from 1pm and the sale starts at 2pm. Contact Brian on 0794 915 4666 or Julian on 0780 685 1789.
The 2nd North Wakefield Radio Club Rally will take place on Saturday 13 July at Drighlington Meeting Hall, Moorland Road, Bradford BD11 1JZ. The McMichael Rally And Boot Sale will be held on Sunday 14 July at Reading Rugby Club, Holme Park Farm Lane, Sonning Lane, Sonning on Thames, Reading RG4 6ST, just off the A4 east of Reading.
