Rallies and Events News – 16 June 2013

Today, 16 June, the 26th Newbury Radio Rally will be held at the Newbury Showground, next to M4 J13 in Berkshire. Gates open at 8am for sellers and 9am for visitors. Entry is £2. Talk in will be on S22 and there is free car parking on site. Email rally@nadars.org.uk for more details.

The date of the South Manchester Radio Club Boot Sale has been moved from 23 June because of clashes with other events. The Rochdale & DARS Summer Flea Market will take place on 22 June in St Vincent’s Church Hall, Caldershaw Rd, Rochdale OL12 7QL. Doors open at 10.15am and admission is £2.50. There will be trade stands, a Bring & Buy as well as special interest groups. Details from G0PUD on 0161 285 1600.

South Lancs Summer Rally will take place on 22 June at Bickershaw Labour Club, Bickershaw Lane, Bickershaw, Wigan WN2 5TE. Doors open at 9.30am and admission is £1.50. On 23 June the East Suffolk Wireless Revival, otherwise known as the Ipswich Radio Rally, will be held at The Orwell Crossing Lorry Park, A14 Eastbound, Nacton, Ipswich, IP10 0DD. The LAM Communications Rally in aid of Cancer Research will take place on 23 June at Elsecar Heritage Centre, inside Building 21, located 2.2 miles from LAM Communications Ltd. Doors open from 10am to 4pm.
