Aircraft scatter is about bouncing VHF and UHF radio signals off high-flying aircraft—effectively ‘hitching a ride’ with someone else’s plane to extend your everyday working range up to 800km.
It may sound rather technical, but with some explanations from Ian, aircraft scatter might soon feel very easy.
During the talk, Ian will consider how aircraft scatter actually works, and if it’s so useful, why we haven’t heard more about it.
