CV5A will be on the air from Flores Island, SA-030, between the 21 and 23 February. Activity will be on all HF bands and modes. QSL via CX2ABC.

Three German operators will be active as ZD8D until 6 March from Ascension Island, AF-003. They will be on all bands from 40 to 160m SSB, CW and RTTY. QSLs go via DL9HO and logs will be uploaded to Logbook of The World.

Prefix hunters may be interested to work TM60TAAF, which is on the air to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the French Southern and Antarctic Territories. The station is located at the shack of Francois, F8DVD and is due to be on the air until the 17th, then 19 to 22 and 27 and 28 February. QSLs go via F8DVD.

Paul, G8AFC is on the air as 3B8/G8AFC from Mauritius, AF-049, until 2 March. Activity is on the HF bands and six metres, primarily using CW. QSL via the operator’s instructions.

IV3FSG and IK6CAC will be on the air as 5H1ES and 5H1OC, respectively, from Zanzibar Island, IOTA AF-032, from 18 February to 11 March. Activity will be holiday style on the HF bands using CW, SSB and various digital modes. QSL to home calls.
