The 144MHz May Contest ends its 24 hours of operation at 1400UTC today, the 17th. This contest is part of the VHF Championship series. With 6- and 24-hour sections for single-op fixed and single-op open stations, plus an open section for multi-op stations, there are convenient categories for everyone. The exchange is signal report, serial number, locator and postcode.
Today, the 17th, the first of this year’s 144MHz Backpacker events runs for four hours, the first three of them overlapping the final three hours of the 24 hour contest. Taking place between 1100 and 1500UTC the exchange is signal report, serial number and locator.
The Worked All Britain 7MHz Phone contest takes place today, the 17th, from 1000 to 1400UTC. The exchange is signal report, serial number and WAB square. Entries need to be with the contest manager by 7 June 2015. Also today, starting at 1200UTC and running for three hours, the IRTS 40m Counties Contest runs along similar lines to their 80m contest in January using SSB and CW only. Exchange a signal report and serial number, with EIs and GIs also giving their county.
On Tuesday, the 1.3GHz UK Activity Contest runs rom 1900 to 2130UTC. Using all modes the exchange is the usual signal report, serial number and locator.
Thursday sees the CW leg of the popular 80m Club Championships running from 1900 to 2030UTC. The exchange is signal report and serial number.
On Sunday, 24 May, 3rd 70MHz Cumulative runs from 1400 to 1600UTC. Using all modes, the exchange is signal report, serial number and locator.
