Contest News – 12 April 2015

Today, 12th April, the first 50MHz Contest runs from 0900 to 1200UTC. Using all modes the exchange is signal report, serial number, locator and postcode.

The Worked All Britain Data contest takes place today, 12th April, from 1200-2200UTC. This is on 3.5, 7 and 14MHz bands and the exchange is signal report, serial number and WAB square. Entries need to be with the contest manager by 3rd May. Full details of the rules and logsheets may be obtained from the WAB website, www.worked-all-britain.org.uk

On Tuesday the 432MHz UK Activity Contest takes place from 1900 to 2130UTC. Using all modes the exchange is signal report serial number and locator.

On Wednesday the SSB leg of the 80m Club Championships will take place from 1900 to 2030UTC. The exchange is the usual signal report and serial number.

On Sunday the 19th the UK Microwave Group 2nd Low Band Contest runs from 1000 to 1600UTC. Using all modes on the 1.3 to 3.4GHz bands the exchange is signal report, serial number and locator.

The 2015 YU DX Contest takes place next weekend in two sections. From 2100UTC on the 18th to 0459 on the 19th, then from 0900UTC to 1659UTC on the 19th. The object is to work as many YT and YU stations as possible using CW only on the 1.8 to 28MHz bands. The exchange is signal report and serial number. Full rules at www.yudx.yu1srs.org.rs/2015/
