Today, the 25th, sees Cray Valley Radio Society’s Grand Surplus Equipment Sale at The Montrose Club, 158 Hurst Road, Sidcup, Kent, DA15 9AJ, from 1pm. A range of components, equipment and test gear owned by renowned constructor Chris Whitmarsh, G0FDZ will be available for sale. Admission and parking are free. All are welcome. 2m and 4m FM nets are also held on 145.350MHz on Sundays at 10am, and on 70.425MHz on Fridays at 8pm. A Top Band net is held on the first Monday of the month around 1.905MHz. The net begins using SSB and then moves to AM. All amateurs, especially Foundation licence holders, are welcome to join in.
