Antrim and District Amateur Radio Society is meeting on Friday 12 September from 7.30 to 9.30pm. Club member Ron Bishop will be giving a talk from 8pm. Ron’s presentation is entitled ‘Northern Ireland, Enigma and the Radio Security Service’. Most people have heard of the World War Two German Enigma ciphers and the code breakers at Bletchley Park. It’s a fascinating story but Northern Ireland’s role in it is only now emerging. The meeting will take place at Greystone Community Centre, 41 Ballycraigy Road, Antrim, BT41 1PW.
