West Tyrone Amateur Radio Club will run a Foundation course on 25 October and 1 November in the Technology Centre, Spillers Place, Omagh. The course will be followed by an evening exam on 4 November. All course materials will be provided and the fee covers the full course and exam. You can download an application form from www.wtarc.net. On Saturday 4 October West Tyrone Amateur Radio Club is holding the annual conference at the Village Inn, Killyclogher, Old Mountfield Road, Omagh, Co. Tyrone BT79 7LT. Guest speakers from around the UK and Ireland will be delivering presentations on various aspects of amateur radio. There will also be trade and exhibition facilities and a bring-and-buy.
