News for Wales – 8 May 2022
Wales Digital Radio Group will be active throughout the month using GB8RNLI raising awareness of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution around our shores by the many volunteers who provide 24-hour rescue service in the UK and Ireland.
Barry Amateur Radio Society meets each Tuesday from 7.30pm at the Sully Sports and Social Club. On Friday, there is a Zoom meeting at 7pm hosted by Glyn, GW0ANA. Please contact Steve, 2W0VOG on 0790 056 0080.
Newport Amateur Radio Society has a net on Sundays around 3.705MHz from 10am. On Tuesday there is a net on 145.375MHz from 8pm. There is a club night from 7pm on Thursday. Visit the website
Carmarthen ARS is having a 2m FM net on Tuesday and Thursday via GB3FG at 8pm. On Wednesday the net is via GB3CM at 7.30pm. There is an 80m SSB net on Sunday starting at 2.30pm. Andy, GW0JLX on 07768 282880.
