We start with news from clubs that have several events this week. Wythall Radio Club has its net on 145.225MHz or GB3WL from 8pm today and next Sunday. Monday sees the Intermediate course and on Tuesday there’s a Morse class plus club night. Coventry Amateur Radio Society has its open net on Monday from 8pm on 145.375MHz FM and/or 7.16MHz ± QRM. Thursday sees an open net from 8pm on 50.175MHz SSB. Contact John, G8SEQ, on 07958 777 363. On Friday there is a station for Castles on the Air from Astley Castle. Next Saturday and Sunday is Youth Aviation Day with Coventry Gliding Club at Husbands Bosworth. Gloucester Amateur Radio and Electronics Society is having an informal evening on Monday. Wednesday and Thursday see club nets, starting on 145.500MHz at 7.30pm and then moving to 145.550 or the nearest clear channel. Contact Anne, 2E1GKY, on 01242 699 595, daytime.
