News for England Midlands – 8 November 2015

We start with news from clubs that have several events this week. Worksop Amateur Radio Society continues its Intermediate training and is on the air today and next Sunday. On Tuesday there’s a club night and the UKAC, whilst Wednesday sees VHF and UHF activities. Thursday has a talk on oscilloscopes by Fred, G3XXN. Coventry Amateur Radio Society has its club net on Monday from 8pm on 145.375MHz and/or 7.16MHz ±QRM. On Friday there’s a committee forum plus special event station GB4CBC on the air to commemorate the Coventry Blitz. Contact John, G8SEQ, on 07958 777 363.

South Birmingham Radio Society is working in the shack on Monday. The regular coffee morning in the shack is from 11am on Tuesday. Thursday sees training classes with Dave Murphy, G8OWL.
