We start with news from clubs that have several events this week. Sutton Coldfield Amateur Radio Society has its 6m open net on 50.135MHz from 8.30pm tonight and next Sunday. Monday sees an open net on 145.250MHz from 7.30pm. Next Saturday and Sunday there will be a special event station on the air from the grounds of Sutton Coldfield Rugby Club to mark the Rugby World Cup. Wythall Radio Club has its club net at 8pm tonight and next Sunday on 145.225MHz or GB3WL. Tuesday sees the AGM, and on Thursday there’s the RSGB 80m Club Sprint CW contest. Lincoln Short Wave Club is taking part in the UK Club Contest on Tuesday. Wednesday sees the final briefing meeting in advance of the Hamfest at Newark.
