We start with news from clubs that have several events this week. South Kesteven Amateur Radio Society is operating GB2EGG today at Swaton Vintage Day and World Egg Throwing Championship, alongside the launch of the Eggsplorer-1 HAB flight. Sutton Coldfield Amateur Radio Society has its 6m open net on 50.135MHz from 8.30pm tonight and next Sunday. Monday sees an open net on 145.250MHz from 7.30pm. Wythall Radio Club has its club net on 145.225MHz or GB3WL at 8pm tonight and next Sunday. The Intermediate course continues on Monday, plus there’s the regular curry night at the Monsoon. Tuesday sees a Morse class and preparation for VHF NFD. The regular nibbles night is in the shack from 7.30pm on Friday. Lincoln Short Wave Club is taking part in the UKCC on Tuesday. Wednesday sees a sausage and burger night and on Thursday there’s the club net via GB3LM from 8pm.
