We start with news from clubs that have several events this week. South Kesteven Amateur Radio Society members will be operating the GB5ROC special event station from the Royal Observer Corps post on the Buckminster Estate in Leicestershire today. Wythall Radio Club has a club net on 145.225MHz or GB3WL at 8pm tonight and next Sunday. Monday sees a curry night at the Monsoon from 6.30pm. The Tuesday Morse class is at 7.45pm, followed by a beginners’ guide to RTTY by Lee, G0MTN. South Birmingham Radio Society is discussing future rally visits on Monday and has its regular coffee morning in the shack from 11am on Tuesday.
