News for England North – 21 June 2020
News for the Isle of Man first. On the island, lockdown and the need for social distancing have been lifted. The Isle of Man Amateur Radio Society has announced that shack nights will commence from Wednesday, 24 July at 7pm in Ballasalla. All are welcome to catch up on everything that has been going on. The weekly Tuesday net will continue on the GB3IM repeater network, commencing at 7.30pm. There is also an early morning net every Sunday commencing at 9.30am around 3.715MHz, followed by another on the GB3IM network at 11.30am after the GB2RS news. All on the Isle of Man are invited to join in the nets and to attend the shack meetings. For further information email info@iomars.im.

Warrington Amateur Radio Club has daily open nets from 10am around 145.350MHz. Today and next Sundays also see open nets from 9am around 145.425MHz and from 2pm around 145.400MHz. Chester and District Radio Society members are often monitoring 144.300MHz and 3.605MHz for any calls. On Sundays there’s a net from noon, beginning on 145.500MHz. South Manchester Radio and Computer Club has a net on Sundays from 10.30am around 3,637kHz. Tuesday and Thursday see nets from 8pm around 145.475MHz. On Wednesday there’s a net from 8pm on 51.530MHz.
