News for England North – 4 August 2019

We start with clubs that have several events this week.

Sheffield and District Wireless Society is taking part in the 432MHz Low Power Contest today. On Wednesday from 7pm there’s a portable evening in the hills west of Sheffield. More information from Krystyna, 2E0KSH, on 0788 406 5375.

South Manchester Radio and Computer Club has its SSB net on 3667kHz from 10.15am this Sunday and next Sunday. Tuesday sees a net from 8pm on 145.575MHz FM. York Radio Club has its breakfast meeting from 10am this Sunday. On Wednesday it’s the net from 7.30pm on 145.375MHz and Thursday sees a club night with training. For details see yorkradioclub.uk.
