We start with clubs that have several events this week. Denby Dale Radio Club is taking part in the WAB 144MHz low power phone contest today from Cartworth Moor. On Wednesday there’s a talk and practical construction of the PA0RDT Mini Active Antenna by Chris, G5VZ from PADARS. Details from Richard, M0RBG, on 07976 220 126.

Sheffield Amateur Radio Club is having a social night on Monday and will be taking part in the RSGB 80m Club Contest as G3RCM. On Saturday G2AS/P will be active from Wharncliffe Chase, IO93FL, for RSGB VHF NFD. More information from Peter Day, G3PHO, by email to sarc@g3pho.org.uk.

Stockport Radio Society 2013 is preparing for the Stockport rally on Tuesday. On Saturday it’s the RSGB BBQ on the Air. Details from Nigel Roscoe, on 07973 312 699.

Mid-Cheshire Amateur Radio Society is doing the final assembly of equipment for VHF NFD on Wednesday. On Saturday the VHF NFD weekend commences, finishing on Sunday. Contact Peter Paul Fox, G8HAV, on 01606 553 401.

Next Sunday Hull and District Amateur Radio Society is holding an equipment sale in the clubhouse at Walton Street Community and Leisure Centre, HU3 6JB. Viewing is from 1pm and the sale starts at 2.
