On Sundays, Appledore and District Amateur Radio Club has a net on 1.860MHz from 9.30am, followed by an SSB net on 144.260MHz at 10.30am. The Club has weekday nets taking place from 4pm on 145.450MHz, except Wednesday when the net takes place via GB3DN. Later on Wednesdays, there is a net from 8pm on 144.260MHz. The Jersey Amateur Radio Society clubroom is now open on Friday evenings from 8pm. On Sunday evening at 9pm there is a DMR net on GB3GJ talk group 23516 all amateurs are welcome to join in. An old footpath has been reinstated to gain access to the club from the Meteorological Radar Tower to Mast B. Please be very careful as the ground is uneven. The Mid Cornwall Beacon and Repeater Group will have a strong presence at the Cornish Radio Amateur Club Rally on Sunday the 29th at Penair School in Truro. The Group will have a huge amount of donated working test equipment for sale, amongst other items, for amateurs to have a rummage through.
