A new net for Cornwall and the surrounding area starts on Thursday at 7pm on 145.400MHz. Called the Operators Net it is open to all licensed amateurs with a focus on experimentation of equipment, power level tests, or just a chance to try a new microphone or antenna. Flight Refuelling Amateur Radio Society has nets on Sunday on 145.3875MHz from 7pm to 8pm, then from 8pm to 9pm on 50.180MHz. Thursday sees nets on 70.400MHz from 7pm to 8pm, then from 8pm to 9pm on 145.3875MHz. For details, email info@frars.co.uk
