Our guidance is designed to help you with outreach activity, whether at a community event, youth group, school, or with your friends and family.

Change and adapt activities 

As well as the amateur radio activity that features in the British Science Week Community pack, the RSGB Outreach team has created two other activities that fit in with the 2025 British Science Week theme of ‘Change and adapt’.

• Observing the Sun and understanding aurora: Using a special solar telescope, learn about the Sun and its cycle of change

• Observing the Moon: During British Science Week monitor the Moon’s phases. Learn where NASA astronaut Neil Armstrong landed in 1969
