Legacy Committee Member
The RSGB Legacy Committee considers applications for project funding to be made from the Legacy Fund and makes recommendations to the Board.
One of the current members is coming towards the end of his term of office and we are therefore looking for a new member to take his place.

Legacy Committee Member
Reporting to:
Legacy Committee Chairman
Responsible for:
- Considering applications for legacy funding
- Discussing applications with other Legacy Committee members
- Helping to prepare recommendations to the Board
- Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding applications for funding and the Legacy Committee’s work
Most applications are discussed via e-mail exchanges. Three meetings are arranged each year; these are generally carried out via Skype.
The post holder must accept and follow the RSGB’s core Ethos values and Nolan’s 7 principles of governance. The post holder must also agree to conform with the RSGB’s polices and procedure as set out in the Policy and Procedure Manual.
Competencies:
- The time, energy, interest and willingness to serve
- Experience of the financial and technical elements of project funding would be useful
- Experience of working with amateur radio clubs and radio amateurs is essential
- Must be IT literate and have access to computer facilities
Term of Office:
Initially for 3 years, with the option to serve a second term if mutually agreeable.
