Proof of Identity

In the case of remote invigilation exams this will need to be shown to the camera on your computer.  It is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that this proof is available at this time of the examination. If it is not available the exam may not proceed and will result in the loss of the appointment and the fee paid.

Other than when special arrangements have been made with the RSGB Examinations department it is the candidate’s responsibility to ensure no other person is present during remote invigilation exams. Invigilators will ask for the venue to be scanned  using the camera. Should there be other people present they must be asked to leave – if they do not the exam cannot proceed and will result in the loss of the appointment and the fee paid.

Remote Invigilation Availability
RSGB Examinations are offered with the expectation that invigilators will be available at the booked time and date.  Should this not be able to take place because of unavailability, technical issues or any other issues that are the RSGB’s responsibility it will do its best to re-book this to a mutually convenient time and date.  Should this not be possible the RSGB will issue a full refund for the booking.  The RSGB accepts no responsibility for any consequential loss and the limit of any liability is the cost of the examination.

Appointment Changes and Cancellations
Once a booking for remote invigilation examination has been made and paid for it is considered final.  It is up to the candidate to check carefully that the chosen date and details are correct.  You will not be able to change your appointment unless there are exceptional circumstances.  Any changes or cancellations that are agreed by the RSGB Examination Department may be subject to an £10.00 administration charge.  If you are within 10 days of your appointment date unfortunately we are unable to refund any monies.
