Committee activities

The RSGB Board is aware that some Committees have fallen behind with the publishing of meeting minutes. Board Directors are working with Committees to address any gaps and many of these have already been filled.

Members should be aware that some Committees and groups no longer exist as their work was complete or the group has been combined with another or reorganised (e.g. TEC, IWG); their presence on the web page is a simple administrative oversight.

Members should also be aware that some groups that include “Committee” in their title are actually service communication groups that do not meet, and do not set policy, thus there are no minutes of their meetings. These latter groups provide a valuable service to other parts of the RSGB and co-ordinate and report their activities through other means. The web pages of those groups are being updated to reflect their reporting status.
