Youngsters on the Air (YOTA) 2017

YOTA UK 2017We are proud to have hosted YOTA 2017 the prestigious IARU international summer camp at Gilwell Park, the UK Scouting HQ, from 5-12 August 2017

There were 80 young people under the age of 26 from 27 countries—from all over IARU Region 1 as well as Japan—representing their national amateur radio societies at the event.

By taking part in a mix of amateur radio and intercultural activities, the young people were able to build relationships with like-minded people from other countries and develop international friendships through amateur radio—and they had a lot of fun!
