On Thursday 9 January Mid Ulster Amateur Radio Club is partnering the BBC at this years ‘Stargaze’ event from The Folk and Transport Museum at Cultra. Focusing on satellites, they will have both hardware and software on display with hopefully a live demonstration using a FUNcube dongle. On Sunday 12 January there will be a talk by George Busby on the Secret Listeners of Gilnahirk, reflecting on the involvement of radio amateurs intercepting enemy radio signals during WWII.
