The date has been confirmed for the Twelfth Scottish Microwave Round Table GMRT. The event will take place on Saturday 9 November 2024 at the Museum of Communication, Burntisland, Fife. Lunch will be provided and an optional dinner will be held in the evening at a local hotel. On Thursday, Aberdeen Amateur Radio Society is holding a CW practice session from 7pm. Following this there will be an equipment surgery and on-air evening from 7.30pm. aars.org.uk

Livingston and District Amateur Radio Society is operating as GB0FW at the Falkirk Wheel, today, the 25 August. Members are working on 40 and 2m bands. They are also operating using SSTV on the 20m band, as conditions allow. Visitors are welcome. There will be a club night at the Crofthead Centre this coming Tuesday 27 August from 7pm.
