YOTA Czechia 2024 – Day 3
Today we went into central Prague to visit the national museum (Czechia’s National History Museum). This was a really great way to see the city for the first time and to get to know my fellow amateurs here!
The recent history exhibit on 20th century Czechoslovakia was really interesting. They had an exhibit showing how clandestine radio operators used to hide their operations to talk to operators in the west.
After dinner, a few of us retired to the shack to remotely operate the Czech radio club station across Prague. We even managed to get a few transatlantic QSOs with Canada and the US!
