Nominations Committee Chair appointed
At the 2020 RSGB Annual General Meeting, Members supported the proposal to enhance the governance of the Nominations Committee (NomCom) by having an independent Chair who would be able to focus upon the recruitment and selection of candidates for consideration as Nominated Directors.
A special set of skills is required for this senior volunteer position and the Board is pleased to appoint Stephen Purser, GW4SHF to the role.
Stephen has experience of being on the NomCom and is well-qualified to chair the Committee. He will be commencing his duties immediately and plans, together with the rest of the Committee, to present two candidates to the AGM in April for endorsement as Nominated Directors.
