Clive Ward, G1EUC, 4 September 2015

| September 7, 2015

Clive Ward, G1EUC suddenly became a silent key on Friday 4 September 2015. I learnt of his passing on the same night from his neighbour, barely two hours after speaking to him on the phone (and not long after he had help start up a packed 32nd Foundation course and enjoyed seeing his TX Factor effort).

Clive started training in mid-2002 and had helped with 60+ exam sessions, aiding hundreds of candidates at all three levels.

Chelmsford Amateur Radio Society has lost an outstanding Training Manager / Exam Secretary, whilst Essex Repeater Group likewise has lost a great Chairman.

Both the CARS and ERG websites now have initial news and SK pages.
