Nigel AT Hardy, ZL2TX – 17 June 2024
Nigel (ex-G3TJD) was a keen CW DXer, as both G3TJD and 
, for most of his life.
While working as a lab’ assistant in Stafford in 1965, he established a radio club in the local Grammar School which enabled a few of us to get our licences. He had been a radio operator in the Merchant Navy and then on the inter-island Cook Strait ferries between the north and south islands of New Zealand.
Nigel (Nat) was a member of FISTS Downunder and RNARS.
He would have been 78 years old in July and leaves a wife Christine and sons David and Phillip. A truly wonderful lifelong friend to many of us.
