Today, on the 14th of June, the Junction 28 QRP Rally will be held at the Alfreton Leisure Centre, Church Street, Alfreton, Derbyshire DE55 7BD. The venue is 10 minutes from M1 junction 28 and the A38. There will be talk-in on S21 and the doors open at 10am. There will be trade stands, special interest groups and refreshments on site. Today, the 14th of June, the East Suffolk Wireless Rally will be held at the Orwell Crossing Lorry Park, A14 Eastbound, Nacton, Ipswich, IP10 0DD. There will be a car boot sale, Bring & Buy as well as special interest groups and an RSGB bookstall. Doors open at 9.30am and admission is £2. Details from Kevin, G8MXV on 07710 046846.

The South Lancs Summer Rally will be on the 20th of June at Bickershaw Labour Club, Bickershaw Lane, Bickershaw WN2 5TE. Doors open at 7.30am for traders and 9am for customers, with admission costing £2. There will be trade stands, a Bring and Buy as well as special interest groups and catering. The Newbury and District Amateur Radio rally takes place next Sunday the 21st of June. This year, essential roadworks on the M4 Junction 13 have closed the roundabout normally used as the main entry and exit point. This means that there are diversions in place for all visitors coming from the M4 Westbound, A34 North- and Southbound. Visitors travelling Eastbound on the M4 can take the slip road to the showground. All visitors leaving the showground will have to follow diversion routes. The rally opens at 9am for visitors and 8am for sellers, with trade stand and a car boot area including a demonstration marquee with a display of amateur radio on the air. The Barnsley LAMFEST Radio Rally will take place on the 21st of June in Building 21, Elsecar Heritage Centre, Elsecar, Barnsley S74 8HJ. The event is held in aid of The Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
