Changes to PMR

Ofcom has decided to amend the existing Wireless Telegraphy Act 2006 licence exemption criteria for some wireless devices including Personal Mobile Radio, or PMR 446.

Ofcom has expanded the frequency band and technology choice slightly but also introduced restrictions on abuse and enforcement as well as better receiver standards.
