We start with clubs that have several events this week. Hastings Electronics and Radio Club is having a talk on the personal aspects of digital amateur radio on Wednesday by Stuart, G4WCP. Saturday sees an auction of used and surplus equipment in aid of the Repeater Group. The auction opens for viewing at 1.30pm at Holy Redeemer Church Hall, with bidding due to start around 2.15 pm. Visitors are very welcome. Details from Gordon, on 01424 431 909.

Finally, news that Dr M Williams, G0EGA will start a new GB2CW Morse class broadcast on 7 and 8 February and continue every subsequent weekend until 8 March.
