We start with a reminder from Crawley Amateur Radio Club that the Microwave Round Table takes place next Sunday, 8 September, and not Monday 9 September as has apparently been announced in some quarters. This annual day of microwave related demonstrations, presentations, equipment and component sales is a week earlier than usual.  Refreshments, tea, coffee etc are available and visitors are welcome. Doors open at 10am at the CARC Clubhouse, Hut 18, Tilgate Forest. All enquiries to Derek, G3GRO.

Now for clubs that have several events this week. Fort Purbrook Amateur Radio Club is holding its 40m club net today and next Sunday, initially meeting on the 2m calling channel, 145.500MHz, at 8.55pm. Monday sees the club 2m net on 144.350MHz USB from 7pm. The 70cm net is on Wednesday from 8pm on 433.575MHz and Thursday sees the 2m FM net on 145.550MHz from 7pm.
