Grey Point Fort ARS is hosting commemorations at the Fort as part of Remembrance Weekend, Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 November, between 10am and 5pm. There will be 20-plus military vehicles on display at the Fort, plus other activities. The radio station will be on air throughout, on all bands, conditions depending. To conclude the commemoration, on Tuesday 11th there will be a short remembrance service attended by local dignitaries, before firing the Vickers 6 inch gun, provisionally between 11am and 12pm. Details are at www.greypointfort.magix.net/public.

The next meeting of the Mid Ulster Amateur Radio Club will NOT be on the usual second Sunday in the Month, i.e. today, due to Remembrance Day commemorations. Instead, the November meeting will be held next Sunday, the 16th, at 3pm in the club training room in Portadown. Details are online at www.muarc.com.
