We start with news from clubs that have several events this week.

Burton Amateur Radio Club has its net on 145.575MHz at 10am this Sunday and next Sunday. On Wednesday there’s a shack night and Thursday sees a club net on 145.575MHz from 7.30pm. Details from Mike Lewis, M0XMX on 0785 068 5961.

Lincoln Short Wave Club shack is open from 9.30am this Sunday with GB2CWP from 10am in NAAFI. There’s a nibble and natter night on Wednesday and Thursday sees the club net from 8pm on GB3LM. RAF Waddington Amateur Radio Club is operating special event station GB6BK this Sunday from RAF Binbrook. The club net is on Monday from 8pm on 145.325MHz and on Friday there’s a club night. Saturday sees work continue on the shack extension and refurbishment. Contact Bob, G3VCA, on 07971 166 250.

Welland Valley Amateur Radio Society starts operating its special event station GB2FWW at Main Street, Great Bowden this Sunday, continuing for 28 days. Wythall Radio Club has its net on 145.225MHz or GB3WL from 8pm this Sunday and next Sunday. On Tuesday there’s a Morse class followed by a free and easy evening. Details from Chris, G0EYO, on 07710 412 819.

Coventry Amateur Radio Society has an open net on Monday from 8pm on 145.375MHz FM and or 7.16MHz ± QRM SSB. Thursday sees an open net from 8pm on 50.175MHz SSB. There is no meeting on Friday. Contact John, G8SEQ, on 07958 777 363.

Gloucester Amateur Radio and Electronics Society is operating from Crickley and having a picnic on Monday. Wednesday sees the main net from 7.30pm on 145.475MHz and on Thursday there’s a net from 7.30pm on 145.475MHz that usually moves to 80m SSB. On Friday there’s a net at 7.30pm on 432.220MHz USB. South Birmingham Radio Society is closed on Monday. The regular coffee morning in the shack is from 11am on Tuesday.
