We start with news from clubs that have several events this week.

Burton Amateur Radio Club has its net on 145.575MHz at 10am this Sunday and next Sunday. On Wednesday there’s a shack night and Thursday sees a club net on 145.575MHz from 7.30pm. Details from Mike Lewis, M0XMX on 0785 068 5961.

Cheltenham Amateur Radio Association has a net from 8.30am on 50.220MHz USB this Sunday and next Sunday. Tuesday sees the regular lunch, followed by QRS CW from 8pm on 3540-3550kHz. Contact Derek, G3NKS, on 01242 241 099.

Salop Amateur Radio Society has its club net on GB3LH from 8.30pm this Sunday and next Sunday. Monday sees a members’ feedback evening and on Saturday there’s a CW net from 4.30pm on 144.070MHz. For details, email salopamateurradio@gmail.com.

Wythall Radio Club has its net on 145.225MHz or GB3WL from 8pm this Sunday and next Sunday. Tuesday sees a Morse class and preparations for the Wythall Hamfest, which takes place next Sunday. Details from Chris, G0EYO, on 07710 412 819.

On Monday Coventry Amateur Radio Society has an open net at 8pm on 145.375MHz FM and or 7.16MHz ± QRM SSB. The Thursday open net is at 8pm on 50.175MHz SSB and on Friday there’s a radio workshop evening. Contact John, G8SEQ, on 07958 777 363.

Gloucester Amateur Radio and Electronics Society is having an informal and operating evening on Monday. The main net is on 145.475MHz FM from 7.30pm on Wednesday. The Thursday net starts on 145.475MHz FM at 7.30pm, then normally moves onto 80m SSB. On Friday there’s a net at 7.30pm on 432.220MHz USB. South Birmingham Radio Society is spending Monday checking equipment for field day event. The regular coffee morning in the shack is from 11am on Tuesday. Thursday sees training classes with Dave Murphy, G8OWL. The trailer gets loaded with rally stock on Friday, and next Sunday there’s a club stand at the Wythall Rally.
