Now for news from clubs that have several events this week. Central Radio Amateur Circle is at the Blackpool Radio Rally today. On Saturday there’s shed work, and next Sunday sees a visit to the Blackpool Radio Rally. Contact Martin Hallard, G1TYV, on 07948 027 994.

Worksop Amateur Radio Society continues its Advanced training course tonight and next Sunday. On Tuesday there’s a club night with participation in the UKACs and Thursday sees a technical evening with construction, operating and Morse classes. More information from Paul, M0PJA, on 07890 626 684.

Wythall Radio Club has its club net from 8pm on 145.225MHz or GB3WL tonight and next Sunday. On Tuesday there’s a Morse class plus a club night and a committee meeting. Coventry Amateur Radio Society has an open net on Monday and Thursday from 8pm on 145.375MHz FM and/or 7.16MHz ± QRM. On Friday there’s the 2nd round of the G2FDC 2m DF Trophy. Contact John, G8SEQ, on 07958 777 363.

South Birmingham Radio Society has work in the shack on Monday. The regular coffee morning in the shack is on Tuesday from 11am. Thursday sees training classes with Dave Murphy, G8OWL. On Friday there’s a session checking the club aerials and equipment. Next Sunday there’s a club visit to the West London Radio and Electronics Show.
