News for England Midlands – 6 December 2015

We start with news from clubs that have several events this week. Worksop Amateur Radio Society is on the air from 8am and continues its Intermediate course today. On Tuesday there’s a club night and the UKAC, whilst Wednesday sees VHF and UHF activities from 8pm. Thursday has a technical and construction evening, and Saturday sees on the air activities from 8am. Next Sunday it’s the Intermediate exam. More information from Paul, M0PJA, on 07890 626 684.

Coventry Amateur Radio Society has its open net on Monday from 8pm on 145.375MHz and/or 7.16MHz ±QRM. On Friday there’s an introduction to the 2016 project. Contact John, G8SEQ, on 07958 777 363.

Gloucester Amateur Radio and Electronics Society is having its Christmas Carvery on Monday, though the club will still be open for those not attending the feast. On Wednesday there’s a club net from 7.30pm starting on 145.500MHz. Thursday sees a net commencing on 145.550MHz at 7.30pm and then moving to other bands.
