We start with the announcement that Wakefield & District Radio Society is waiving the entry fee for its inaugural annual Construction Competition that honours their founder, Walter Farrar, G3ESP. The competition is open to any radio amateur or interested individual from RSGB Region 4. Projects must be entirely home built from components, must be of an amateur radio nature and must work. Kits are acceptable, but will be marked lower than completely home-constructed projects. The G3ESP trophy will be presented to the winner, plus a prize of £25. Further details from email@example.com.
